This nose assembly installs 3/8" Magna-Lok blind rivets used in truck trailers, in corner areas and door hinges. It is compatible only with RAT's 640HK lockbolt tool. This nose measures 3.3" long and is 0.95" in diameter. These imported noses have several quality features including, tool steel anvils and chrome molly-jaws hardened to Rockwell C60. The anvils have a black anodized finish and a laser engraved picture on each nose of the intended fastener to help users with nose selection. The independent jaw design keeps costs lower compared to unitized jaw model types. These noses have performed as well as most major USA made brands because the maker also manufactures lock bolt fasteners and they build noses very well.
